Jeff brings significant experience to the Fox Rothschild LLP Group. He has litigated numerous commissioner hearings and jury and non-jury condemnation matters. At the firm, he concentrates in commercial real estate law including transactions, land use matters, property rights, condemnation proceedings, tax appeals and related litigation, and outdoor advertising law.

After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, Jeff clerked for the Honorable Edward F. Broderick, presiding judge of the criminal division in Morristown, NJ. He later was appointed Deputy Attorney General of New Jersey and served during Governor Brendan Byrne's two administrations, advising the Department of Transportation and handling complex highway contract litigation, civil rights matters and eminent domain cases. In addition to other reported cases, he was the trial lawyer in a leading inverse condemnation case, Schnack v. State of New Jersey, 160 N.J. Super. 343 ( App. Div. 1978) and has argued cases before the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Jeff also co-authored the New Jersey Outdoor Advertising and Roadside Sign Control Act and New Jersey's outdoor advertising regulations. Since 1985, Jeff has served as counsel to the Outdoor Advertising Association of New Jersey. He is an associate member of the Outdoor Advertising Association of America and a member of the New Jersey and American Bar Associations as well as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Jeff is a member of the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce and is the board president and chief volunteer officer of the Greater Trenton Area YMCA.

In addition to condemnation matters, Jeff handles applications to planning and zoning boards and a variety of land use matters, including zoning variances, ordinance amendments, master plan modifications, site plans and subdivisions. He is experienced in property and land use litigation, condemnation proceedings, real property tax appeals, commercial leasing, secured lending and banking, and commercial law.

Jeff received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1973 and earned a B.A. from Colgate University in 1970.
