Marc is a co-chair of the firm's Condemnation Group and devotes most of his practice to eminent domain law and government land acquisitions for public projects. He has extensive experience in representing both condemnors and condemnees in cases involving a wide array of properties, including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, retail stores, office buildings, residential subdivisions, airports, landfills, coal properties and redevelopment areas.

Marc is well versed in appraisal theory and methodology, and works closely with appraisers, especially in connection with complex valuation issues. He is also conversant with the requirements of redevelopment laws as well as the URAA and state relocation laws.

Marc's insights in the field of eminent domain are regularly sought out by the media, including CNN, ABC News, National Public Radio and U.S. News & World Report, as well as newspapers across the country. Marc also lectures on condemnation-related subjects before lawyer groups and trade organizations.

In addition, Marc is experienced in all aspects of real estate transactional work, including the representation of purchasers and sellers, borrowers and lenders, landlords and tenants, and developers. He has extensive experience in the residential development, retail and telecommunications industries.

Marc is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations, and has been admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and is routinely admitted to handle particular cases in other jurisdictions across the country.

Marc received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1985. He graduated with high distinction from the University of Virginia in 1982 with a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics.
