Peter's practice includes litigation of complex matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, contracts, commercial transactions, tax appeals and a variety of real estate matters where he represents numerous large corporate clients. He also has appeared at administrative hearings and proceedings involving unemployment compensation benefits and liquor licenses.
Peter is a member of the Condemnation Practice Group and Zoning and Land Use Group at Fox Rothschild. As a member of the Zoning and Land Use Group, Peter has experience handling real estate, land use and zoning matters with a special interest in eminent domain.
Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a civil trial attorney, Peter has litigated matters in both federal and state court and has appeared before the New Jersey Appellate Division and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Fewer than 2% of all lawyers in New Jersey can claim this distinction.
In 2005, Peter was recognized as a New Jersey “Super Lawyer” by Law & Politics magazine as selected by his peers state-wide representing the top 5% of the lawyers in each state or region.
An informative speaker, Peter has lectured and presented seminars on topics such as the presentation of an expert witness at the time of trial and handling of the discovery phase of complex litigation matters.
He is a member of the Atlantic County, New Jersey State and American Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States.
Peter attended Montclair State College, where he received his B.A. in 1987. He attended Seton Hall Law School and earned his J.D. in 1990.
